Think of it like being the electrician who checks every outlet in a mansion before the family moves in. Except this mansion makes memory chips, and one bad connection can shut down a production line worth more than the mansion itself.

That's the job. You're the technical authority the commissioning team, the owner, and every contractor on site turns to when they need a straight answer on whether the network is ready.

What You'd Own

  • Technical leadership on IT, telecom, structured cabling, and network infrastructure
  • Design review of drawings, submittals, and riser diagrams
  • Field verification of cabling, terminations, grounding, and labeling
  • Witnessing fiber/copper certification and network failover testing
  • Coordination with electrical, controls, security, and life safety teams
  • Owning turnover documentation for the owner’s operating team

What FusionIRX Needs From You

10+ years in IT, telecom, or network infrastructure, with real experience commissioning networks on semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical builds. You're comfortable reviewing drawings and specs, and comfortable being the person who tells a room full of contractors “not yet, fix this first.” This is full-time, on-site in Boise, Idaho.

Fifteen or more years, BICSI or RCDD credentials, and experience with Procore, CxAlloy, or Bluebeam all move you to the top of the pile, but they're not a hard requirement. The engagement is an independent contractor role under a Professional Services Agreement, full-time on-site.
